Hey guys! Another week has passed, and I can’t believe that March is over. Ohio weather was *finally* starting to warm up a teeny tiny bit, but then, of course, yesterday it snowed. However, I’m confident we only have a few more weeks of cold weather (fingers crossed!). This week, I thought I’d write a new post about 5 of my favorite restaurants in Columbus. The five places I chose are super close to campus, so my roommates and I frequent them quite often (maybe too much). If you are ever in the Columbus area, I would definitely recommend trying a few out!
DISCLAIMER: Columbus has an amazing selection of restaurants, and this list doesn’t even begin to cover them all. I just thought I would share some of my favorites with you guys.
P.S. Click on the name of the restaurant to head over to their site!
My 5 Favorite Restaurants in Columbus
Condado Tacos
Up first has been a staple place of mine since freshmen year. Their tacos are reasonably priced, and they have a lot of delicious appetizers and dips. Oh! And, their chips are made in house and always come out warm.
Honorable mention for Mexican restaurants: Bakersfield Tacos for their delicious margaritas.
Cleveland friends: Condado and Bakersfield both recently opened up locations in our area! Condado is now located at Pinecrest and Bakersfield is on West 6th downtown. I definitely recommend trying them out!

Marcella’s
This place is a bit less casual than my other choices. It’s a really delicious Italian joint perfect for all occasions. My family and I made reservations here for after my graduation so I will be sure to snap a lot of pictures and share them with you all.
Pauly Gee’s
My roommate, Mikayla, introduced me to this restaurant late last fall. They have a huge wood fire pizza oven, and they offer a variety of thin crust pizzas. I personally recommend their white sauce pizza. They also have vegan options! Their décor was absolutely beautiful, too. Check this place out if you’re a pizza-lover like me.
Ethyl & Tank
Ethyl is best known as a bar on campus, however, they also have fabulous brunch and lunch/dinner menus! This is definitely one of the best places around Ohio State’s campus for traditional bar food, and the atmosphere is one of my favorites. It’s a great place to watch a ~ sports game~ with friends.
Last, but not least, brunch!
Number five on my list are a few brunch places in Columbus– I couldn’t choose just one!
Forno is another great Italian restaurant with a stellar brunch menu.

Union Cafe – awesome all you can eat brunch with mimosas and a bloody Mary bar!
That’s it for this week guys. Thanks for reading! Don’t forget to sign up for my newsletter at the bottom of the page and read my post from a few weeks ago.

P.S. Keep an eye out for my first ever guest post on XO Alexis’ website later this week!
Oooh! I’ll have to try the Condado at Pinecrest! Warm, homemade chips gets me every time. Haven’t made it to Pinecrest yet though, so I’ll have to make a day of it. I’m getting hungry already! LOL
There’s so many good choices down here in Cbus! I still need to check out Pinecrest, too!
Love Condados! I’ll have to try the other places!!
Me too! Mexican food is the best.
This could easily be 500 Restaurants in Cbus – there are SO many great places!
I completely agree!
